Jeff Woodburn
Jeff Woodburn brings extensive experience in public policy and political strategy to The Advocacy Partners. Before joining the firm, he served as Policy Director for Governor-Elect Ron DeSantis’ successful gubernatorial campaign, where he led the development of the campaign’s policy platform and served on the senior leadership team. Jeff also spent nearly a decade in public service with the state of Florida, shaping and implementing policy at the highest levels of state government.

Executive Director, Florida Constitution Revision Commission, 2017-18, responsible for day-to-day operations, legal review, and administration for the most successful Constitution Revision Commission in Florida’s history resulting in seven amendments to Florida’s constitution passing in the 2018 general election
Policy Director and Deputy Chief of Staff, Governor Rick Scott, responsible for developing policy objectives, briefing the governor on all legislation, managing various business and insurance coalitions during legislative sessions, and served as co-director of the Office of Policy and Budget. Jeff also oversaw various state agencies including the Departments of Business and Professional Regulation, Corrections, Juvenile Justice, Lottery, Revenue, the State Board of Administration, the Offices of Insurance Regulation and Financial Regulation, the Division of Bond Finance, the Florida Retirement System, Citizens Insurance, Visit Florida, and the Florida Housing Finance Corporation
